Bica was founded in 1996 in Progreso, Honduras with the purpose to fulfill the Great command of Jesus Christ: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”

Since then, Bica has graduated over 600 men and women from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Panama. The results of these efforts are: many churches have been planted, thousands have been taught the gospel and also have been baptized, and according the teaching of Apostol Paul, BICA has followed this principle, II Timothy 2:2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

The Biblical Institute of Central America has helped to develop the leadership of many churches in the whole area of Central America. The students got two years of strong methods of evangelize and besides that, a deep knowledge of the whole Bible.

There is still much to be done in the Spanish speaking world, therefore we invite you to be a partner in this big effort. The only way that we will know that have done the Lord’s will is to be sure that we help to these young people to gain some training in BICA in order to be the future preachers of the Gospel of Christ.
